Trinity Medical Center selects Optio for software install
Trinity Medical Center has chosen Optio Healthcare for forms automation, patient signature capture and electronic health record solutions, including Optio Deficiency Management.
Optio Healthcare said the implementation at the Brenham, Texas-based hospital will be completed by February 2008.
“Optio's forms automation solutions will streamline document processes and alleviate filing problems due to lack of storage space. We hope to cut our forms printing completely for patient records within 18 months,” said Sharon Schwartz, health information management director, Trinity Medical Center. "Eventually paper forms will not exist at Trinity; they will be completely automated and stored in Optio QuickRecord for direct, real-time access by our staff and physicians.”
