UCLA nanobio center to use FEI electron microscope
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) New Center for Nanobiology has begun high-resolution molecular imaging studies using the FEI's Titan Krios transmission electron microscope.

FEI, the Hillsboro, Ore.-based company that specializes in electron microscopy technologies and applications, designed the Titan Krios for 3D molecular imaging applications where samples are imaged at cryogenic temperatures. It can generate images with resolutions as small as a few tenths of a nanometer, which gives scientists the opportunity to study the structure and function of biological nanomachines at the molecular scale.
