Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital in Hampshire, England, has installed Zoll Medical’s AutoPulse non-invasive cardiac support pump in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

AutoPulse is an automated, portable device with a load-distributing LifeBand that squeezes the chest, improving blood flow to the heart and brain during sudden cardiac arrest, according to the Chelmsford, Mass.-based Zoll. AutoPulse delivers uninterrupted chest compressions to maintain myocardial and cerebral perfusion.
