Virtual Radiologic has signed a licensing agreement with Baton Rouge Radiology Group in Louisiana for its recently upgraded cloud-based computing platform, vRad Enterprise Connect 3.0 suite.

The radiology group will leverage the technology to unify disparate technologies including worklists, image viewers and report generation and distribution, as well as to facilitate rapid critical results communication and provide long-term image storage, said Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Virtual Radiologic.

The platform’s new features include the vRadPACSviewer, vRad Results and vRad Vault, stated the company.
