Visage partners with ACR for interactive radiology education
Visage Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercury Computer Systems, has partnered with the American College of Radiology (ACR) to provide its Visage CS thin-client server, which will be used for interactive radiology education on coronary CT angiography and the Dartmouth PET/CT course.

The Visage CS system provides true thin client, 3D-based image interpretation, post-processing, and image distribution for CT, MR, PET, PET/CT, SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging, enabling access to data anytime, anywhere inside or outside the hospital or imaging center, according to the Carlsbad, Calif.-based company.

Visage is one of 11 vendors providing workstations and clinical applications in the ACR Education Center, according to James H. Thrall, MD, chair of the ACR board of chancellors.
