Washington Imaging Services taps NeoTool for interface engine
Washington Imaging Services (WIS) has installed NeoTool's NeoIntegrate interface engine to replace older interfaces and build new interfaces to EMR systems.

WIS gained the capability from an applications perspective to route all of radiology reports electronically after installing NeoIntegrate, said Barb Hageman, IT director of the Bellevue, Washington-based company.

The motivation for WIS to provide interfacing with referring physicians' offices was to reduce the turnaround time between patient scans and the time the report is received by the physician's office, thereby enhancing their ability to correlate needed diagnostic information in a much faster manner, according to the Plano, Texas-based NeoTool.
