Yale installs 4th dyseCT CT workflow engine
DeJarnette Research Systems Inc. will deploy three more dyseCT computed tomography (CT) workflow engines at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn. Yale purchased an initial evaluation unit in May 2004.

According to DeJarnette, dyseCT is a low cost alternative to the PACS problem associated with high speed scanners that produce multiple procedure studies within a single acquisition. Workflow inefficiencies occur when a PACS system matches these multiple procedure studies to a single order, leaving several unmatched RIS orders.
