Zoll scores Oregon AutoPulse deal
Sandy Fire District, in Sandy, Oregon, an emergency service in the Portland area, has installed Zoll Medical's AutoPulse, an automated CPR device.

The District credits the automatic chest compression device with helping to save the life of a 52-year-old contractor who went into sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), the company said.

According to the Chelmsford, Mass.-based Zoll, the AutoPulse is an automated, portable device with a load-distributing LifeBand that squeezes the entire chest, improving blood flow to the heart and brain during SCA.
