Zynx launches ACO pilot program
Clinical decision support systems developer Zynx Health, joined by five healthcare organization test sites, has launched a pilot program focusing on healthcare reform and preparation for accountable care organizations (ACOs).

Zynx, a subsidiary of Hearst, will initiate the new service and software offering that will analyze healthcare organizations’ clinical decision support and recommend implementation tactics that can help move the facilities toward cost accountability and outcome quality outlined in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, the Los Angeles-based company stated.

The five organizations involved in the pilot program include: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Texas, Northwest Hospital & Medical Center in Washington, St. Joseph Health System in California and Texas and WellStar Health System in Georgia.
