GE Healthcare has appointed two new company officers. Randy A. Fox, MBA, has been appointed vice president and chief information officer (CIO), and Karim Karti has been appointed vice president and chief marketing officer.
Fox will lead the global IT organization while partnering with the business and regions to deliver tools, processes and systems for its employees, customers and patients. Fox has been with GE for more than 25 years, having served as CIO for GE Plastics, GE Supply and GE Energy before assuming his current role. In his most recent post with GE Energy Management, Fox led the global IT organization and delivered capabilities to support the business’ IT requirements.
Karti will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies for GE Healthcare globally. Karti has been with GE Healthcare for 15 years, having served in a number of business management, services, sales and marketing roles in the U.S., Asia and EMEA before assuming his current position. In his most recent post as president and CEO of GE Healthcare for Russia & CIS, Turkey & Central Asia, the Middle East & Africa, he led market expansion of local capabilities and partnerships with public and private customers. Prior to starting his GE career with the corporate audit staff in 1996, he served as a brand manager with Procter and Gamble.
