iCAD and Matakina have entered into a distribution partnership to provide radiologists an objective breast density assessment tool with computer-aided detection (CAD) systems.

With this agreement, iCAD will integrate New Zealand-based Matakina's Volpara volumetric breast density assessment software into its CAD systems. This will provide customers an objective breast density assessment tool, according to the Nashua, N.H.-based provider of advanced image analysis and workflow software.
