Breast cancer technology provider Orbital Therapy has announced the availability of its artifact-reducing insert for its ClearVue prone breast platform.

According to the Bedford, Mass.-based company, the patent-pending design of the new insert reduces the shadow effect projected through the breast to be treated, generated by the CT reconstruction process, resulting in a cleaner CT image of the breast.
