RSNA: Sectra highlights RIS/PACS, mammo products
Sectra Imtec (Booth #9124) is highlighting products that strengthen its cross-enterprise capabilities in radiology and mammography at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting.

Sectra said its PACS workstation, with an updated volume visualization functionality, provides physicians with value-added imaging data at the point of care.

The firm's mammography workstation is based on its new RapidConnect technology. These dedicated workstations have features, such as an ergonomic keypad and automatic hanging protocols, to support requirements of the mammography department.

Sectra RIS delivers a single desktop reporting environment and the capability to monitor critical tasks and events, so radiologists can manage patient data and daily workflow across the enterprise.

At the conference, Sectra will showcase its digital mammography solution, Sectra MicroDose Mammography for high-volume screening. Users can perform as many as 15 four-image exams per hour, according to the company.

The company also will demonstrate an integrated solution for mammography screening, including Sectra Screening RIS and Sectra Breast Imaging PACS.
