Sentinelle enters OEM distribution deal with Siemens
Breast MRI coil and software developer Sentinelle Medical and Siemens Healthcare have entered an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) distribution agreement for Sentinelle's Vanguard coils.
Under the agreement, Siemens said it will sell the "Sentinelle Vanguard for Siemens" coil for its MRI products Magnetom Espree, Magnetom Avanto and Magnetom Symphony, a Tim system.
The Sentinelle Vanguard for Siemens is also integrated into the new Magnetom Espree - Pink, a dedicated breast MRI. The system also is designed with variable coil geometry that allows the coil to accommodate a wide range of patient sizes, and increases signal-to-noise ratio delivering excellent image quality, according to the Toronto-based Sentinelle.
