Fujifilm Medical Systems USA (Booth 4039) is showcasing a full line-up of breast imaging solutions highlighted by a new detector technology featuring Direct Optical Switching (DOS). Complementing Fujifilm’s current digital mammography products, it will be the first amorphous selenium detector with a 50-micron pixel size.  Plans for commercialization will be announced.  

Also being featured at RSNA is the recently launched Breast Imaging Diagnostic Workstation which delivers Synapse PACS multi-modality breast imaging functionality to complement the company’s full-field digital mammography (FFDM) offering; it can be installed as an image and information management solution or it can be a supplement to facilities’ existing PACS. Fuji also is displaying a working model of a mammography suite including the latest in CR-based FFDM technology.
