Fujitani takes helm of Fujifilm Medical Systems
Naorhiro Fujitani has become the new president and CEO of Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A., effective April 1.

He comes to the company with nearly 35 years of experience with Fujifilm and succeeds Hiroaki Tada, who retired after 40 years with Fujifilm, the last two at Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A.

Prior to this appointment Fujitani served as the company’s senior executive vice president. Before coming to the U.S. he was senior vice president of Fujifilm Europe and general manager of the graphic systems division where he was responsible for the sales, marketing, manufacturing and day-to-day operations and profitability of the graphic businesses in the European, African and Middle Eastern markets.

As president and CEO, Fujitani is charged with managing the growth and profitability of the company’s imaging systems, medical informatics and women's health business segments.
