The American Hospital Association (AHA) sent all U.S. community hospitals a survey to gather information on their use of health IT and what barriers they perceive to adoption. AHA will use the survey findings to educate Congress about health IT and facilitate its adoption in the field. The survey covers implementation of clinical and non-clinical IT applications; integration of health IT within the hospital and community; IT financing; and impediments to adoption. Responses are due Nov. 10.
