McKesson hires American Airlines CFO
McKesson Corp. has chosen Jeffrey C. Campbell as its new senior vice president and CFO.

Campbell will join McKesson on Jan. 1, 2004, eventually replacing William R. Graber, who plans to retire as senior vice president and CFO on April 30, 2004.

Campbell served as CFO at AMR Corp. and its subsidiary, American Airlines, joining AMR/American Airlines in 1990. His responsibilities at the company over the years included financial and general management positions, including managing American's European operations based in London from 2000 to early 2002 before becoming CFO.

American credited Campbell in the world's largest airline's turnaround plan that helped stabilize the carrier as it teetered on the brink of bankruptcy earlier this year in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
