MRI, machine learning in Silicon Valley could help you live longer

The Silicon Valley-based company Celularity and Human Longevity is offering a service that may help humans live longer, according to a recent  article by Business Insider, U.K.

The service is called the Health Nucleus and requires three hours of sequencing an individual's genome to complete. The entire process initially requires patients to undergo a full-body MRI exam.

Once complete, the MRI data is then fed into machine learning technology to detect any cancer or health abnormalities that could potentially be avoided or treated, according to Human Longevity co-founder Peter Diamandis, MD. He has founded 20 others companies related to molecular genertics.

"We all eventually have some [anatomic] problem, but we find it at stage zero or stage one when it's curable or treatable immediately," Diamandis told Business Insider.

Human Longevity is one of many companies conducting experiments in the Silicon Valley to increase human longevity, including Elevian and Unity Biosciences. See the entire article below for more information.
