Acclaimed action star Chuck Norris filed a lawsuit Wednesday, Nov. 1, alleging gadolinium from MRI imaging scans has poisoned his wife, Gena, and is seeking more than $10 million in damages to cover her medical expenses. The suit names several manufacturers of gadolinium contrast agents.
According to a recent article from The Washington Post, the lawsuit states that Norris' wife has been left feeling week and tired with "debilitating bouts of pain and a burning sensation" due to gadolinium usage to improve clarity of her MRI scans.
“One of the problems is this is a very misdiagnosed and underdiagnosed condition,” said Todd Walburg, an attorney for the Norris family.
