Agfa Heartlab Cardiovascular heads to Europe
Agfa HealthCare this week introduced Agfa Heartlab Cardiovascular to the European market at the European Society of Cardiology meeting in Stockholm. The web-enabled system is built to enable cardiologists to more accurately diagnose from anywhere within the hospital, but also provides remote access to the data from any PC. Agfa Heartlab Cardiovascular also includes structured reporting and ECG management, and can work with all modalities, the company said.

Various components of the system include:
  • Agfa Heartlab HeartStation, which enables ECGs to be stored, read, interpreted and archived as part of a patient's web-accessible electronic medical record;
  • Agfa Heartlab WorkStation, which offers review and analysis tools for multiple cardiology and vascular imaging exams;
  • Agfa Heartlab Results Management, which is capable of creating a single repository of clinical findings and automates web-enabled digital reporting, knowledge mining and data export; and
  • Agfa Heartlab Portal, that provides web access to DICOM images, reports, and ECG exams.
