AHRA sets dates for Electronic Imaging Conference
The American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) is holding its 2004 Electronic Imaging Conference from April 1-3 at the Hyatt Regency in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

The conference is geared toward radiology administrators, PACS administrators, RIS managers, HIS directors, IS and IT professionals, CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, network manager, practice managers, radiologists, consultants, imaging center owners and administrators and technologists.

Topics include: Archiving today and into the future; automated coding and compliance software; CR/DR; future PACS technologies; HIS/RIS and distribution: and disaster recovery and workflow/productivity.

New this year is a pre-conference workshop designed for PACS administrators. Sessions during this workshop include: PACS implementation: How to survive the 'rookie' year successfully; Developing and managing a PACS downtime policy; and PACS workflow redesign: RX for success, and filmless department migration.
