Bluesocket provides centralized tools for managing system access points
At HIMSS 2006, Bluesocket Inc., a provider of open wireless security and management systems, announced that it has expanded its BlueView  Management System (BVMS) to offer customers open management of Cisco, Proxim, Avaya and 3COM access points (APs).

Bluesocket now enables its customers to easily manage, configure and update Bluesocket APs as well as other vendors APs from one location. This expansion of Bluesocket’s BVMS provides customers with an integrated and interoperable management system that enables them to configure Cisco and other vendors APs right out of the box.  BVMS has always been able to monitor APs, but now administrators can ensure security and software revision control by upgrading software and patch levels for several APs all at once.

In addition, BVMS open access control provides a cost-effective, all-in-one solution, eliminating the need for customers to buy additional management products that offer inferior functionality and create administrative complexities.
