Continued growth throughout 2001 and 2002 has prompted  Ultrascan Inc. to expand its service capabilities.

The independent service organization (ISO) plans to concentrate on ultrasound services and explore services, such as strategic parts and support agreements with larger integrated delivery network systems (IDNS), hospitals networks and health systems. Ultrascan also is looking to increase current services support to the maintenance insurance business and multi-hospital systems and group purchasing organizations.

The ISO, founded in 1995, offers third-party ultrasound service and refurbished ultrasound devices.
