CareTech Solutions Inc. has announced the launch of WebCare, which offers broad capabilities for hospitals and healthcare systems' online presence.

WebCare provides a set of customized tools and support for an organization's both internally and externally, and this includes simple front-end web sites to complex secure healthcare portals, as well as content management systems to centralized physician resource centers and e-commerce applications that can be accessed by patients and network affiliates. The system can be hosted and maintained by CareTech, or implemented at client sites.

WebCare's features include group communications resources; portals provide quick, easy and secure access to critical data; the system allows group users to retrieve the most current information from anywhere; and web services provide interactive registration modules and secure portals to view consultation information, to online bill payment.
