Cedara announces new application for film digitizers
Cedara Software Corp. announces the availability of its new application for film digitizers, the I-Acquire/FD software.
The scanning console application assists hospitals and clinics to convert their vast libraries of film into digital format. The software supports many industry leading film digitizers, including Vidar Sierra plus and Vidar Sierra DiagnosticPro plus of Herdon, Va.-based Vidar Systems and the MultiRAD 460 and 860 of Howtek Devices, a division of Boca Raton, Fla. based iCAD.
The I-Acquire/FD is designed for facilities with picture archiving and communications systems (PACS), as well as smaller medical facilities without a PACS by enabling providers to store images on CD.
