Guardian purchases Zinon Software
Guardian Technologies International, a radiology informatics firm in Herndon, Va., has signed an agreement to acquire exclusive rights to iC Works software technology from the Va.-based Zinon, which is expected to accelerate its planned FDA clinical trials.

Guardian believes that the acquisition of Zinon software, which includes clinical interface visualization technology and recall database structure, will enable it to accelerate the time to market for its Signature Mapping products.

Signature Mapping is an analysis and visualization technology that can be installed to read images from medical imaging devices to detect disease states, said Guardian.

Terms of the acquisition are being withheld at the request of the seller.
