Guardian Technologies International Inc., a provider of high-performance security and healthcare systems, yesterday announced that it has entered into an agreement with Ultimate Medical Services Inc. that will make UMS the first distributor to offer Guardian's healthcare systems and future imaging informatics products in the United States. UMS, based in Lake Charles, La., is a value-added reseller offering a full range of medical-imaging modalities and best-of-breed technologies and services to the nation's healthcare industry.
