Merge eFilm releases new Fusion PACS
Image and information management software provider Merge eFilm has released a new version of its Fusion PACS (picture archiving and communications system), version 1.2.7.
Fusion PACS 1.2.7 is part of Merge's Fusion RIS (radiology information system), PACS and RIS/PACS workflow offerings.
Merge says the upgraded version provides referring physicians with secure access to new and historical images and reports via the web, and allows them to be viewed with a robust set of image manipulation tools similar to those in Merge's eFilm Workstation software.
In addition to automated access to third-party, legacy DICOM archives, the newer PACS offers an image viewer plug-in which provides the ability to integrate Fusion web user interface into a customer's Web site for referring physician access to reports and images.
