Microsys Computing Inc., the developer of MicroMD practice management software, demonstrated components of its MicroMD Xpres Suite at HIMSS06 last month. Using the Xpres Suite, physicians that use the MicroMD system can securely input and obtain information from anywhere through use of a wi-fi network.
   
MicroMD Xpres Suite includes the following components:

• PocketXpres – provides access to features of MicroMD from any pocket PC device running Windows;
• TabletXpress – a full function, portable MicroMD system for tablet PCs ideal for anywhere via wi-fi; and

PatientXpres – provides patients similar anytime/anywhere secure access to their own health information.
