PatientKeeper secures $8 million to support operations, development

PatientKeeper Inc. today announced that is has secured an additional $8 million in funding to be used to expand operations and invest in new product development in physician information systems. A good deal of the funding is coming from healthcare venture capital firms including Frazier Healthcare, Mediphase Venture Partners, Mosaix Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Pacific Venture Group, Saints Capital, and Whitney & Co. 

PatientKeeper systems are designed to support a physician in every care setting, by providing access to patients’ electronic records, writing prescriptions, entering charges for services, document patient encounters, and securely sending messages to other caregivers within a single, integrated environment.
