PlanView, a portfolio management system provider, last week announced the adding of data analysis and reporting tools from Business Objects XI Release 2 into its portfolio management platform. Business Objects’s technology includes enterprise-class, real-time analytic capabilities towards financial transparency, intelligent reporting and real-time performance management capabilities, according to a release.

Specifically, BusinessObjects XI offers reporting, query and analysis, and data integration. With a new architecture for scalable enterprise reporting, PlanView customers will now be able to run PlanView’s Crystal Reports along with the full capabilities of InfoView and Web Intelligence. The new ImportWizard tool in PlanView Enterprise provides the capability to migrate existing content to a BusinessObjects XI Release 2 installation, and is also a tool for lifecycle management and back up support for the business intelligence content.

The new release of PlanView Enterprise featuring BOXI Release 2 integration will be available in July.
