Saint Louis University will launch $1.3M CV research center
Saint Louis University in Missouri has invested $1.3 million to launch a new Center for Cardiovascular Research, which teams doctors and scientists.

SLU said the center will help the school attract faculty, cardiovascular researchers, post-doctoral fellows and students, as well as make collaborative research projects more appealing to funding agencies.

“Having a research center will reveal new opportunities for interaction we never knew existed. We will make the greatest impact by drawing in people with diverse expertise who examine scientific questions from many perspectives,” David Ford, PhD, a professor at SLU and director of the new center, said in a statement.
