Siemens Medical Solutions and IMPAC Medical Systems Inc. have announced a five-year extension of their software distribution agreement. Per the agreement, Siemens distributes IMPAC's LANTIS Oncology Information System to oncology practices worldwide.

Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens can package IMPAC's radiation oncology management software with its oncology treatment systems, and will continue to cooperate in the development and marketing of IMPAC products, the companies said.
