Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. is partnering with group purchasing organization (GPO) Premier Inc. on a 90-day group buy initiative for the company's MRI systems.

The promotion runs from March 1 through May 28, allowing Premier members to purchase MR technologies at what Siemens calls "special pricing." The program covers Siemens' scanners from 3 tesla to 0.2 tesla.

There are some 1,500 hospitals and healthcare facilities in Premier's membership.
