TeraRecon provides Kansas Spine Hospital with post-processing technology
TeraRecon Inc. will deploy its post-processing technology at Kansas Spine Hospital of Wichita, Kan. to provide real-time reconstruction capabilities for complex computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) datasets.
TeraRecon's Aquarius technology will allow radiologists and clinicians at the medical center to interact with larger CT and MR data sets, augmenting their Philips Medical Systems' EasyAccess picture archiving communication system (PACS) with real-time multi-planar reconstruction and volume rendering capability.
In addition to the PACS, Kansas Spine Hospital recently installed a Philips' Intera 3.0 Tesla MR system and a Philips' Brilliance 16-slice CT system.
