A Texas radiologic technologist accused of sexually assaulting a patient during a computed tomography scan was recently arrested and is currently being held on bond.

Cadwallader Coles, 59, allegedly performed an “unwanted sex act” on a male patient during his on-call shift at Townsen Memorial Hospital in Humble, Texas, ABC affiliate KTRK reported Thursday. The unnamed victim says the incident occurred just before undergoing a CT scan on Feb. 5. Documents also say Coles offered the victim crack cocaine following the assault, according to the news outlet.

Police were called to the scene on Feb. 5, where they found two grams of cocaine and a smoking device in Cole’s viewing room. He was arrested at the hospital but bonded out of jail the following day. On June 17, he was charged with sexual assault and remains in jail on a $15,000 bond.

Coles denied the incident occurred but DNA samples from the patient matched with the technologist’s, according to the Houston-based news outlet. The Texas Board of Medical Radiology Technology temporarily suspended his certificate to work on Monday saying, “his continuation in the practice of medical radiologic technology poses a continuing threat to public welfare."
