Ed Cronin, CEO of AHRA, announces retirement after 14 years

After 14 years as CEO of the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA), Ed Cronin has announced he will retire at the end of 2018.

Cronin officially announced plans for retirement in an online AHRA news release on March 23.

"I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the faith you have shown in allowing me the privilege to serve as your CEO," Cronin said in the news release. "Our slogan, 'We Are All In This Together,' has always been very personal for me, and I know you will continue that wonderful culture that makes AHRA such an exceptional organization."

Angelic Bush, the 2017-2018 president of the AHRA Board of Directors, released an online statement on March 28 thanking Cronin for his leadership and dedicated service to the organization.

"Since 2005, Ed has played a critical role in the development and success of the association, and while we will miss him and his inspiring leadership, we wish him the best of luck the next chapter of his life," Bush wrote.
