Amicas Inc. will deploy its Vision series web-based picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) at Madison Radiologists, an independent radiology group in South Central Wisconsin.

Madison's 22 radiologists provide imaging services at nine area hospitals, and over ten clinics in six counties. The internet-based system will provide Madison physicians with an infrastructure to quickly and efficiently offer interpretation and teleradiology services anytime, anywhere. This is made possible through Vision's architecture that is extensible across Madison Radiologists' distributed, complex reading environment.
