Kodak wins multiple CR, DR installations
Eastman Kodak Co.'s Health Imaging Division has rolled out its digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems at three hospitals in the Central United States.

Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis, Tenn., purchased a Kodak DirectView DR 9000 System for its emergency room to serve Level 1 trauma patients. Baptist Memorial Hospital is a 706-bed hospital affiliated with Baptist Memorial Health Care System. The large healthcare provider also purchased and installed 20 Kodak DirectView CR 800/850 and 900/950 Systems to provide digital image capture of general radiography exams.

Saint Francis Medical Center, a 249-bed medical center in Cape Girardeau, Mo., purchased a Kodak DirectView DR 5100 System to perform upright and chest exams. The systems augment four Kodak CR systems already being used at the facility.

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo., purchased a new Kodak DirectView DR 5100 System for the dedicated chest room of the hospital's radiology department. The DR system is in addition to two Kodak DirectView CR 950 Systems and three CR 850 Systems that currently serve the main department.
