Royal Philips Electronics' Medical Systems division has signed agreements with the Los Angeles County Harbor at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and Los Angeles County Olive View Medical Centers for the installation of its Cardiology Information Management System, Xcelera. With more than 1,200 installed sites worldwide, Xcelera is designed around the way clinicians work, integrating the data-rich images generated by echo and cath labs, nuclear medicine, and other departments at a single workspot.
