Misys collaborates with UnitedHealth Group
Misys Healthcare Systems is joining forces with UnitedHealth Group to provide healthcare professionals a direct link for claims processing, automated payment posting and eligibility checking.
The agreement between Misys Healthcare Systems' M Transaction Services and UnitedHealth Group covers a variety of claims management services including claims processing, automated payment posting and eligibility checking. Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
The two entities expect to introduce the service by mid-February.
Misys said the direct link will streamline electronic transaction processing by reducing the amount of time it takes to transmit the transaction from the healthcare professional's office to UnitedHealth Group.
