A woman from Chalmette, La., has filed a lawsuit against a New Orleans hospital and imaging provider, claiming she fell on a broken sidewalk that should have been better maintained.

The plaintiff, Rebecca Brown, alleged that the fall resulted in fractures in both ankles, bodily contusions and blood clots in her lungs, according to The Louisiana Record. The defendants named in the lawsuit are Diagnostic Imaging Services and Touro Infirmary Foundation.
