The Radiologix Enhanced Workflow And Record Distribution (REWARD) initiative has been activated at Mid Rockland Imaging Parterns in New York, NY, and Ide Imaging Parterns in Rochester, NY. Both facilities are Radiologix Inc. subsidiaries, the company said.
   
REWARD joins the capabilities of a radiology information system (RIS) with a picture archival communication system (PACS) and is designed to advance service levels to patients, referring physicians and radiologists and therefore improve diagnostic performance, reduce costs, and standardize operations, Radiologix said.
