RSNA names 2018 editorial fellows

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) announced Kathryn J. Fowler, MD, as the 2018 RSNA William R. Eyler Editorial Fellow, and Elizabeth George, MD, as this year’s RSNA William W. Olmsted Trainee Editorial Fellow.

Fowler recently moved from the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she is an associate professor of diagnostic radiology.

Her editorial experience includes a current position as associate editor of body CT on the Radiology editorial board, where she earned an Editor’s Recognition Aware in 2014 through 2016. She is a member of the abdominal imaging and gastrointestinal imaging panels for RadioGraphics and reviews for Abdominal Radiology and the American Journal of Roentgenology.

George is currently a fourth-year resident and chief resident in radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She received the RSNA Trainee Research Prize in 2016, and is a reviewer for the International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging, Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography and Academic Radiology.

Each fellow will work with Radiology editor David A. Bluemke, MD, PhD, in Madison, Wisconsin, and RadioGraphics editor Jeffrey S. Klein, MD in Burlington, Vermont.
