RTI completes 500th install of iPACS
RealTimeImage (RTI) has deployed its iPACS technology at Bundaberg Radiology, a multi-modality imaging center in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. It marks the 500th installation iPACS.

At Bundaberg Radiology, iPACS web-based PACS is connected to a CT, CR and four ultrasound devices through a DICOM network. Integrated with a RIS, the system will provide complete digital workflow and reporting, RTI said. Bundaberg also plans to use the system's iPACS Pixels-On-Demand image streaming to send images over the Internet to referring doctors and to consulting radiologists for remote reading.

RTI said it also recently received approval for inclusion of the iPACS product line on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods
   
The sale to Bundaberg was made by RTI Australian dealer Medical Imaging Technologies Pty Ltd./miPACS.
