Singleton, pioneering pediatric radiologist, dies at 94

Edward Singleton, MD, the first physician hired at Houston’s Texas Children’s Hospital in 1952 died Jan. 10 at the age of 94.

Singleton led the hospital’s pediatric radiology department until his retirement in 1994. His work included identifying a rare pediatric disorder that caused bone density loss, an enlarged heart and dental deformities. It became known as Singleton-Merton syndrome. Read more at the link below:
