Dec. 7 – Advanced Research Technologies (ART), a medical device and optical molecular imaging products company, has received two orders for its preclinical optical molecular imager, Optix MX2.

The units are expected to be shipped before the end of the year, according the Montreal-based company.

ART said its Optix system has the ability to recover fluorescence lifetime, which can be used to separate and quantify probe distributions depending on their biochemical environment.
