New ultrasound exam step for venous insufficiency studies
ANN ARBOR, MI, SEPTEMBER 16, 2014: Clear Image Devices LLC (CiD) announces the release of a new ultrasound step platform to be used to examine the upper and lower leg for standing venous insufficiency studies. (Item #: 24602, Price: $1950). The Ultrasound Exam Step enables sonographers to place a patient in the optimal position for safe and easy capture of the highest quality venous images of the upper and lower leg. Two handrails ensure a stable and safe platform, for positioning patients at the ideal working level for the sonographer’s comfort. The Ultrasound Exam Step is easy to maneuver in small exam rooms, with built-in rollers and sliding feet. The stand’s weight capacity is 450 lbs. With the increasing number of patients seeking treatment for varicose veins, the demand for a platform to perform the standing venous insufficiency studies associated with these procedures is rising quickly. “Sonographers from several vein clinics evaluated several of our prototypes to help us find the ideal ultrasound platform for this examination” said John Stinson, President of Clear Image Devices. About Clear Image Devices LLC: Founded in January 2005 by Product Engineer John Stinson, Clear Image Devices LLC designs and builds innovative products for optimal patient positioning and for protecting imaging panels from damage.
