CAD Sciences has named James Conklin, MD, as chief technology officer of CAD Sciences, a White Plains, Ill.-based computer assisted diagnosis (CAD) for MRI provider for imaging of breast, prostate and other organs.
   
Conklin, a Johns Hopkins-trained research physician, has served on the faculty of four medical schools, and has published over 100 scientific papers and pioneered in the use of quantitative medical imaging in drug development when he founded Bio-Imaging Technologies. In addition to all of this, he was chief business officer of Genizon Biosciences in Quebec and, prior to that, served as president and CEO of Araccel AB and Phoenix International’s Scientific Software subsidiary, Integraware.
